Responsible AI

Last updated · June 15, 2026

Mikkifuture is building AI that can look back, listen, respond, and feel present. That kind of interface deserves clear boundaries, careful design, and ongoing accountability.

Our core commitment

We aim to build AI presence that is useful, warm, and honest. Our products should help people feel more seen without misleading them about what the system is, what it can do, or what it cannot do.

Responsible AI at Mikkifuture means combining product design, safety testing, privacy protection, user controls, partner obligations, and human review where the risk calls for it.

Transparent AI identity

Mikkifuture avatars should clearly disclose that they are AI. They should not claim to be human, pretend to have real human memories or lived experience, or hide the fact that a model is generating the interaction.

Where an avatar represents a brand, character, creator, or partner, the experience should make that relationship understandable to users.

Consent, likeness, and impersonation

We do not support deceptive impersonation. Creating or deploying an avatar based on a real person’s name, likeness, voice, or identity should require appropriate rights, permission, disclosure, and safeguards.

Users and partners may not use Mikkifuture to trick people into believing an AI is a specific human, a licensed professional, a government official, or an authorized representative when it is not.

Human wellbeing

Mikkifuture is designed for presence, not dependency. We avoid patterns that intentionally exploit loneliness, vulnerability, grief, age, disability, or emotional distress.

We seek to encourage healthy use, clear expectations, and access to real human support in situations where an AI companion is not enough.

Sensitive situations

AI output should not be treated as emergency, medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or other professional advice. For urgent danger, users should contact local emergency services or qualified human professionals.

For sensitive content and high-risk moments, we aim to use safety prompts, response boundaries, escalation paths, and review processes appropriate to the deployment.

Privacy by design

We prefer on-device processing for personal interactions wherever technically and commercially reasonable. Less data leaving the user means less data that can be exposed, misused, or misunderstood.

When cloud processing is necessary, we aim to minimize data, protect it, and make data practices understandable through our Privacy Policy and product controls.

Fairness and accessibility

We work to reduce unfair, biased, or exclusionary behavior in avatar responses, voices, visuals, and interaction patterns. No model is perfect, so testing, monitoring, and feedback remain important.

We also aim to make AI presence useful across languages, cultures, abilities, devices, and levels of technical comfort.

User control

Users should be able to understand key settings, change preferences, end an interaction, report a problem, and request privacy support without unnecessary friction.

Where memory or personalization is available, users should have meaningful controls over what is remembered, changed, or deleted.

Partner responsibilities

Partners who deploy Mikkifuture should use the technology lawfully, disclose AI identity, obtain necessary rights, respect privacy, avoid unsafe use cases, and provide context-specific user support.

We may decline or discontinue deployments that conflict with our safety, privacy, or human-first principles.

Testing and improvement

Before and after launch, we aim to test for reliability, latency, privacy risks, safety failure modes, impersonation risk, harmful instructions, emotional manipulation, and other foreseeable issues.

We use user reports, partner feedback, internal review, and product telemetry to improve safeguards over time.

Accountability

If something goes wrong, we want to know. We review reports, make product changes where appropriate, and update our policies as the product and risk landscape evolve.

Responsible AI is not a one-time statement. It is an operating practice that should become more concrete as Mikkifuture moves from early access to production.

Policy draft notice

This Responsible AI statement is a public policy draft, not legal advice or a complete compliance program. It should be reviewed by qualified counsel and product, safety, privacy, and security leads before it is treated as binding governance.
